The Swagger 1 Electric Scooter from Swagtron brand, is a scooter of modern design, very light to lift and accommodate it inside the car or the VAN, very good response to the accelerator thanks to its powerful 250w engine that can carry up to 15 mph max. (24 kph) on flat ground. Additionally, the Swagger 1 incorporates a 5-speed control to limit the maximum speed at which the unit will move. This makes it very useful when you want to maintain control and safety when driving, for example, in areas with high pedestrian traffic.
The battery has a travel range of close to 15 miles (24 km) on a single charge, which depending on road conditions, steep slopes, day or night use as well as continuous stops, will reduce its performance. The time of a complete recharge of the batteries of Lithium Ion of high performance is of 1.5 hours and after this, it will be again ready to undertake the adventure.
Swagtron made the Swagger 1 electric scooter with an efficient LCD panel where it shows you valuable and important information such as battery charge level, driving speed, distance travelled, travel time and selected gear level. (12.08 kph), the third gear: 10 mph (16 kph), the fourth gear: 12.5 mph (20 kph) and the fifth gear: 15 mph (24 kph).
It’s compact, clean and modern design is very attractive to the eye. The weight of the unit is around 17 pounds, less than 8 kilos, which makes it the most versatile and manageable folding electric scooter in its category by weight/power ratio. This is due in large part to its modern and super lightweight carbon fiber frame, which at the same time is very strong as it is capable of carrying up to 250 pounds (113.4 kgr) of weight without hesitation.
In terms of lighting, the Swagger 1 electric scooter has a front led light with a wide visual range that will allow you to see obstacles on the road as well as close details of the track. At the rear, a reflective material will warn other drivers about your presence. However, we recommend equipping the unit with a set of front and rear LED lights to maximize visual range and see small obstacles that may be a problem for the wheels. Similarly, at the rear, an LED light will be easier for a driver to warn of their presence at night.
An important detail, in relation to driving comfort, is the implementation of a damping system in the front wheel, which consists of an internal spring to relieve the stress of the road bumps on the handlebars. In this way, vibrations are absorbed by the chassis and are much less noticeable in the hands of the driver.
In summary, the Swagger 1 electric scooter is a vehicle very well equipped to be driven on the city, with an extremely lightweight compared to others of similar characteristics and that provides excellent portability. While it is true, its real range in driving range is not the most prominent point, it must be borne in mind that having high-performance batteries that are mounted on the pole of the scooter, free up space in the deck, and make it thinner.
