Unlike the 2-stroke engine, the 4-stroke cycle is less noisy, less vibrations on the chassis, cleaner, and requires maintenance at longer time intervals. The 2-stroke engine virtue over the 4-stroke engine is, in essence, the ability to deliver more power because it use a single turn of the engine to generate power, meanwhile the 4-stroke engine needs 2 turns. On the other hand, the 2-stroke engine produces much more smoke emissions because the oil to keep the engine lubricated is mixed with the fuel it uses to run, additionaly it is noisier and dirtier but for lovers of motor bikes with Gasoline, everything that may sound like a disadvantage, is music to their ears.

The frame is most impressive.
Most everything else can and should be upgraded, especially the totally inadequate BRAKES.
Set up as a single speed, and the fact that the sprocket for the motor drive does not freewheel, no one will be pedaling this bike more than half a block before they give up trying.
The is suspension on front forks, they are of dubious value.
Then there is the sever lack of speed or torque.
Bypassing the governor help a lot in getting tbe bike near to the claimed top speed of 25.
The seat is hard as a rock and almost as comfortable to sit on.
Is a great idea, but not executed as well as could have been.

I bought the 2020 Rover. While the carb has a vacuum leak and will not run without the choke open, still enjoy the bike. I bypassed the govern and can get to 32 mph. As with any motored bicycle upkeep is a weekly thing tightening nuts and bolts. Brakes work fine they need adjustments from time to time. What you get for the money is pretty damn good. If something breaks I just upgrade it. Enjoy the bike very much.

I’ve had the Rover 2019 for about 6 months now and overall I’m generally pleased with the performance of the bike it by far blows out and electric bikes I’ve seen by far. I did do the govenern bypass which definitely added top end speed as well as lowering the sprocket size in the rear which affected the low end speed just a little.Turned the exhaust from forward to back facing why make it harder to let the engine expell exhaust added some venting holes in the cover to help keep the engine cool, larger handlebars for better control definitely at higher speeds.Rear brakes are a joke and pads wear to nothing in just one trip and that haz led to some scary moments on the road, clutch sticks occasionally but wasn’t to much a hassle just needed some lube on the shaft.Definately worth every penny and is a major eye candy bike and show stopper. Being that I’m the only person in the Imperial Valley CA that has one and its internal tank and yellow paint as well as car acceleration at stop signs and red lights
